On Sunday, August 28, 2022, we held our annual ‘Summer Activity’ at Webship. A day where we provided some fun activities for our employees, partners, and children. Around noon, we all boarded the bus heading to France, with the destination unknown!
Under a blazing sun, we tested our skills at the outdoor karting in Lille. After a warm-up and two races, it turned out to be a neck-and-neck race for the podium. No intervention from the VAR, so the results were final.
A few liters of sweat lighter and a few sore arms heavier, the bus started the journey back to Kortrijk. We made a stop in the charming Bellegem, next to the local church tower, also known for its brewery “Omer Vander Ghinste” and the eponymous beer. After a tour of the highly automated brewery, we enjoyed a tasting before heading home.
Once in Anzegem, a delicious dinner awaited us to wrap up the day in style. Thanks to the people at Rojo’s Flavours who prepared a wonderful menu. On to the next edition!
